Not a lot of snow, but the timing though

Not huge totals with this one (for most of us anyway), but the timing is what might make it annoying Thursday morning...

Snow starts around midnight tonight and continues overnight. Coastal spots see the "highest" totals (note: these are not impressive totals for Maine), and the mountains are sadly disappointed with none.

Still snowing for the morning commute with an inch to a couple inches on the ground already. Not a huge deal, but you obviously might need to leave some extra time in the morning to brush the car off and get the kids in their snowpants.

At lunchtime snow is still around for many.

Then by the evening commute we're doing better.

NWS has advisories up for some of us too. (We're all just trying to keep you safe.)

Again, these are not impressive totals for Maine, but hey, it's not nothing. Downeast jackpot again; no one's surprised.

Stay safe. It's officially spring and science says we have to warm up at some point.
