Jacob Thompson's Family:“We’d like to send our hearts and prayers to former First Lady Barbara Bush and her family.
Mrs. Bush, we are eternally grateful for your namesake, The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center. Jacob received many of his treatments there, as well as hospice. We made many memories in those rooms and halls, and are so grateful to have a world-class Children’s Hospital in our hometown. Without this hospital, we know Jacob would have spent much more precious time out of state, away from friends, family, and home.
