BANGOR, Maine — The rainy weather didn’t stop the Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race from happening on Saturday. The race is always held on the third weekend of April.
Organizers say it is the largest paddling event in New England and one of the largest in the country.
Saturday’s high water made for a fast race for paddlers and a fun race to watch for spectators.
